GALVANIZE

When GALvanize started over a decade ago,it took 4 months to find 20 women who wanted to participate. Now, each boot camp fills up before it is announced – with no advertisement or promotion – and a waiting list of women trying to get in.

That’s the power of the sisterhood.

GALvanize has grown from women who want to be sports broadcasters – to women who are in front of and behind the camera. We have women who are reporters, producers, directors, agents, writers, as well as women in public relations, marketing, sports business, women who are unsure of their direction and some women who don’t even love sports – but are craving a network of women to support and be supported by. We are ALL women – every age and stage – ranging from 18 year olds starting to follow their dream to women in their 40’s and 50’s circling back to follow theirs.

Through boot camps, virtual camps and continued connectivity all year round, we are about building confidence – in ourselves and in each other. We are about knowing your own story while you learn to tell somebody else’s – and we are about SISTERHOOD.
